Announcing a new monthly book club
What is it?
A new IFA endeavor to chat about a monthly read, in a low pressure way. There will be no required reading, but you should pick a book that fits the monthly theme in IFA. Each month, we'll also curate 2-3 book recommendations. (These are truly recommendations, and in no way required reads). Or, pick ANY book based on that month’s theme.
what do you get?
Everyone who participates in the 3 Book "Guild" threads that month will get a digital badge that features an icon representing that months' theme.
Just join in on the comments on all 3 book club posts, and chat about the book you chose to read. We'll discuss how it relates to that month's theme, among other things!
how do you start?
After each IFA Monthly Theme is announced, we'll curate 2-3 book recommendations, while you decide which book you'd like to read!
We'll make the 3 posts, and you can discuss with your fellow guild members on their book picks.
So remember:
- Pick any book (based on the monthly theme)
- Comment on each Book Guild post that month (3 posts. we’ll use the hashtag #IFABookGuild and number the posts for that month).
- Get your digital badge!
for authors:
Book recommendations will, at first, be loosely curated from the monthly posts calling for themed books. At this time we won’t be accepting direct suggestions for the monthly recommended book club books.
